Description
Bacteriostatic Water for Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic preparation of water for injection containing 0.9% (9 mg/mL) benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. Each 30 mL multiple-dose vial is manufactured to meet USP standards for sterile water.
Bacteriostatic Water is supplied for use as a solvent in the preparation of research peptides and compounds for laboratory applications. The bacteriostatic agent permits the use of multiple-dose vials while maintaining sterility between uses.
This product meets USP specifications for Bacteriostatic Water. Proper aseptic technique should be maintained when accessing the vial. Store at room temperature (15-30 °C). Once opened, contents should be used within 28 days.
This product is intended exclusively for scientific investigation and peptide reconstitution in laboratory settings. Not for direct injection or therapeutic use.
